Addicted

It honestly feels rare that I get inspired to blog outfits. I'm usually in the same outfit until I get so sick of it that I find something else to wear and it usually takes weeks for me to be satisfied for looks. Sometimes looks find me and this outfit from Cynful did just that. It was at the Salem event in October and I really meant to have this out last week but I had a really bad week last week in RL so I wasn't able to get this out when I had originally planned. (Kinda hard when you have to suddenly move out of your house.) ANYWHO!

I saw this pop up on my facebook feed and I fell in love with the pants. I didn't realize it was a full top and bottom outfit until after I had bought it and honestly I'm kind of happy it came with a top. I'd have a hard time finding the perfect top for these pants otherwise. I love how the bottoms hug all of my avi's curves and how sexy I feel wearing the outfit. I literally sat around my sister's house in this outfit for a long ass time wearing this. I keep finding myself going back to this outfit when I can't seem to find anything else to wear or having a hard time figuring out what I wanna wear. It's awesome. I love when outfits become a staple. It's few and far between for me anymore. Until next time whenever that may be! All of My Friends are Heathens

It seems like everyone is talking about Bento lately with good reason. If you haven't heard of Bento by now crawl out from underneath your rock and join the SL World. Bento was released back in December I believe by Linden Labs as the new Avatar Skeleton. It makes for more realistic movement and makes the avatar as a whole more realistic for mesh creators. At least that's my understanding. With that being said let me talk about what Bento products I have tried.

I broke down and bought the Vista Bento Hands not thinking about seeing if Slink had updated her stuff. They aren't super duper user friendly like the Bento hands that come with the Maitreya Lara Mesh body. Slinks are more user friendly than the Vista hands but you have to buy the hand animations seperately or instead of updating all the hands you bought you suck it up and pay out of pocket for the big "Dynamic" hands. That too me is a bit excessive seeing as you're paying at least 500 - 700 L for each pair of hands before the Bento update. I've been a slink fan for a few years now but Maitreya's hands have won me over. So have her feet but Maitreya's feet aren't Bento as far as I know. I've talked to a few other mesh body users that own more than one mesh body, especially ones who own the Maitreya mesh body and Slink's bodies and all agree that Maitreya's is the most user friendly with everything controlled from one hud. I own the Slink Hourglass body as well and will probably do a post comparing that body with the Maitreya body, I just have a couple of shapes to tweak to make both bodies look proportionate.

Moving onto Bento Heads. I demoed a lot before deciding which one I wanted. I tried Catwa's Catya head which seems to be the most popular one by Catwa but I didn't like it. I didn't like how much editing I had to do for one head, it felt like there was too much editing involved for me. So I moved onto another company, I don't remember the name of, and although I liked the lips on the head none of the skin places I frequent make appliers for it so I steered away from it. I then tried two heads from Lelutka, the Simone head and the Chloe head. Chloe was by far my favorite and didn't require much editing to my shape's face. I liked that part but also liked how youthful it seemed compared to Simone at least in my opinion. It didn't take me that long to adjust my shape's face to fit the Chloe head and make it look more realistic looking. That made me happy.

All in all Maitreya and Lelutka did not disappoint me with their Bento. My suggestion to you is demo before you buy to decide. Be picky and if you don't like it don't buy it. Whether it's Bento heads, hands, feet, ears, tails or mesh bodies only buy something you're 100% happy with.

Hey Girl

It feels so nice to find more clothing for the Maitreya mesh body. Addams has become my new favorite store to buy clothing from as I don't really have to edit my shape to make the clothing fit. What makes Addams epic is they have standard mesh sizes plus cater to other mesh bodies like Slink and Belleza for example. Most of my SL is spent in Addams now because I love how it looks on my avi and how user friendly Maitreya's hud is to create alphas. Also if you haven't already there is a new update for the Slink Hands, Feet and I believe their bodies.

I'm also proud to announce Dope Gurl. A new brand from the beautiful face behind Latreia Foot Fashions. These shoes are amazing and have some pretty color options and you can customize the entire shoe to be some pretty cool colors via convenient hud. They work with Maitreya, Slink Flat feet and Belleza feet. I will also be helping Galatea Aviatik Morane in becoming blogger manager for the store. :)

Before I go I do have a new mesh body part that I'd like to talk about. I recently purchased a mesh head from Lelutka. It's called Ever. While it is a beautiful head and Lara Hurley makes beautiful faces for them I do have a few complaints. Lelutka doesn't work with Omega and doesn't have baby hair hairbases or really work with a lot of hair. I wish it did because a lot of hair I have I can't wear unless I take the head off. I do have to admit that I'm loving the facial expressions and the options to wear lashes or not and the ability to change the opening of the eyes. If you have any mesh heads let me know in the comments below what you think about them and what you wish were changed.

This is Halloween And Pumpkin Spice

Events this month have been making me spend so much that I'm like WHY MUST EVERYTHING BE CUTE! Collabor88, The Arcade and Saving sight have been events that I've hit up a couple of times already this month and the month isn't over yet so I may hit them a couple of more times. Before I jump into my look and say how utterly amazed I am with it I'm going to tell you about Saving Sight.

Saving Sight is an amazing event that so many amazing designers have created for. It's to help the creator of Deadpool Jetx Chrome with his medical bills because he has a disease called Graves/Thyroid and every shot he gets into his eyes is extremely expensive. The whole event is centered around him and how SL looks after it's own and we take care of each other. If you would like more information I will link the gofundme and the facebook page below and I hope you go check out this event, It's an amazing thing to be able to take part in.

So on to my look! Collabor88 has this round dedicated to spooky and I may have went a tad overboard and was like omg everything is cute. I originally wanted maybe 2 things and came home with like 6. I have a serious shopping problem I swear. The Arcade didn't help because they have these cute things that although I didn't add my .birdy. pets were totally cute. I did however add this septum piercing that I'm kind of obsessed with because of how cute it is.

I do have a new mesh body that I've been seeing everybody talk about these last few months as well and I finally caved and spent the almost 3k for. The Maitreya Mesh body is TO DIE FOR. Yes finding appliers can be a little trying at times and you CAN expect to see Maitreya appliers from my store Narcissistic soon as soon as I figure out how to upload those items to marketplace. If anybody knows how please link that in the comments. Anyways the Maitreya body is compatable with Omega appliers and mesh clothing and the hud is incredibly user friendly. I was scared that since I was spending so much I wouldn't be able to wear some of my favorite brands or some of my favorite mesh but I can. Maitreya's default skin tones are the Glam Affair tones so for all of you Glam Affair lovers you DO NOT need to buy appliers UNLESS you have I think the Polar tones or the tones that were released AFTER the Maitreya body was already released so do not fret. I am in love with the body and I do have plans to do a post where I show you how the body looks nude soon as RL gives me some time to I promise. Blank Space

This time of year always gets to me and makes me remember why I don't like it. This year was no different. I always have to take a step back and remember things to be thankful for. I love getting snuggled up in something warm and curling up in a good book. Lately I've been struggling with being sick, working on finals I have to prepare for and having a severe case of blogger's block. So I'm a bit behind. Never fear though because this cute sweater comes from Delirium Style in time for the winter weather. It comes with a massive hud, that allows you to take off the tank top underneath or put it on in a variety of colors. I was thinking of what I could say as a way to tell a story with my outfit but I'll let the pictures tell the story themselves since they turned out better than I expected.

Anyways I gave in and bought the new Fitted Mesh breasts from Lolas and I don't know I'm still hesitant about Fitted Mesh and am not totally on the bandwagon yet. Most Fitted Mesh clothing is dresses that I've found and that puts a kink in my plans for what I wanna wear since I love wearing my Cute Azz since my legs look blocky and nasty without it.... but these boobs I think I've finally gotten adjusted to where they don't look too huge and look semi decent at least with some tops, not all since the double collarbone is a bit harder to fix and I don't have all the patience in the world to adjust it.... I do wish Lolas would start making demos for their boobs because nearly 2k is outrageous to spend just to find out if I like something or not... and I'm pretty sure I've said that before.... as have so many other bloggers. We Haven't Lost Our Innocence

Heyas guys! I've been kind of in a mood where I'm slowly getting back into SL. I guess taking some much needed time away popping in to work or toss together a new post was just what the doctor ordered. I still enjoy getting away though and like in The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe I love going on adventures, whether I'm on SL, off in RL or reading a book somewhere quiet I love getting away from my troubles for a little while. All This Time You Weren't Even On My Mind

Hey guys, have you ever just wanted to get away and find someplace where you can find solace to get away from the world and have a weight lifted from your shoulders? That's exactly how I've been feeling lately, like I've wanted to get away from the chaos that seems to be ever present these days. This last week seems like it's been more stressful than weeks past and filled with the feeling of being pulled in 15 different directions by my last semester of school, work in SL, friends, family and other responsibilities that I have on top of finding out last night that Hazardous isn't the same anymore, I tped there to it being flat and every piece of landscaping, decoration and amazing is gone with no warning. It felt like my world was crashing down around me, like the one place I found my solace left in a poof of smoke to become a distant memory. It made me wander around to find a new place to seek solace, to hang out and just get away and be in some peace, quiet and solitude before going back to the stresses of life. I found Tranquil Haven Park, so far a quiet place where it's encouraged to do some Tai Chi, meditate and have some peace and quiet so definitely check it out when you get a chance. 

R3volt is taking part in the With Love event which starts today and is where you can pick up all 3 versions of these awesome shorts. R3volt is taking part in a lot of events this month and I haven't even opened all of the goodies yet but these were totally adorable and perfect for the coming spring and summer and maybe even autumn seasons coming up. I also caved and bought myself the Lolas Tango Mirage boobs and am finding these are more user friendly and look way better than the Tango's.... Screaming for You

Have you ever felt like things were going in fast motion with no brakes and no way to stop? The constant motion never seeming to slow down and only seems to keep going faster and faster. That's been my life for the last couple of weeks with school starting, working and keeping up with my social life as well as trying to maintain as healthy relationship as possible. The new year has definitely brought many challenges and with some of those changes brings some awesome with it. Delirium Style and Sanctuary Inc are teaming up to bring Krave Inc. Which will be starting up soon filled with many amazing designers and you'll be kept in the loop here. Heyas everybody! I'm so glad to finally be winding down, all my christmas shopping is done and I'm getting into the grove of putting together comfy outfits to go hang around my Army's base or putting something kick ass on to go RP. R3volt has been on a little hiatus while Dunia, Scarlet and Gensa redid the sim and made it even more epic than it already is and man when they did start releasing things again let me tell you I seriously went *-*. I was in heaven when my sisser poos Bri tossed me some Nail Appliers for the slink hands and feet from her shop Quaint and Curious (QnC) and loved how epic they look especially with my outfit... Dancing in the Moon Glow

Heyas everybody. I hope you're all keeping warm and safe, I know it's cold in a lot of places including where I'm at. In my drive to update my inventory with warm clothing that's not only warm but comfortable I've been hitting up all of my favorite stores. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone who's celebrating today. Since today is all about giving thanks I not only wanted an outfit that's completely comfortable so I can gourge myself on food with the imminent result of food coma afterwards I wanted something that reminded me of autumn since it's going to be ending in less than a month. I also wanted to take a moment to share what I'm thankful for this year since a lot has happened. 

I am ultimately thankful for my family and friends because without them I would have left SL only returning to see what's changed every so often and I'm thankful for the new people I've met this year and have become my family. I'm also thankful for the wonderful people who read this blog, you guys believe it or not are the reason I keep doing this even though I don't have all the time in the world that I'd like to devote to keeping this updated it's still a place I find solace and comfort. With that I am thankful for the designers who sponsor this blog because they really don't have to and could have turned me away but I'm glad they took a chance with me and I look forward to continuing to blog all of you. With that said thank you for reading and I hope to continue to bring you designers, looks and stories from all over. :)

Modern Mythos.... Nothing Lasts Forever

Ellooooo Everybody! It's been an insane couple days that's for sure. I was gonna put this post out yesterday but it took me too long to edit the top picture because of the amount of IMs I kept getting inworld. I swear everybody wants my attention and I'm kinda digging it... it's definitely been keeping me on my toes! BUUUUTTTTT I took another trip to the hair fair and picked up a couple of more hairs. This is an amazing event and omgah the hairs that these designers create it's hard to decide which ones to get and which ones not to. I also took a trip to League and Maitreya and I may have gotten addicted.... it's hard not to! Anywhos Happy Shopping!
