Addicted

It honestly feels rare that I get inspired to blog outfits. I'm usually in the same outfit until I get so sick of it that I find something else to wear and it usually takes weeks for me to be satisfied for looks. Sometimes looks find me and this outfit from Cynful did just that. It was at the Salem event in October and I really meant to have this out last week but I had a really bad week last week in RL so I wasn't able to get this out when I had originally planned. (Kinda hard when you have to suddenly move out of your house.) ANYWHO!

I saw this pop up on my facebook feed and I fell in love with the pants. I didn't realize it was a full top and bottom outfit until after I had bought it and honestly I'm kind of happy it came with a top. I'd have a hard time finding the perfect top for these pants otherwise. I love how the bottoms hug all of my avi's curves and how sexy I feel wearing the outfit. I literally sat around my sister's house in this outfit for a long ass time wearing this. I keep finding myself going back to this outfit when I can't seem to find anything else to wear or having a hard time figuring out what I wanna wear. It's awesome. I love when outfits become a staple. It's few and far between for me anymore. Until next time whenever that may be! All of My Friends are Heathens

It seems like everyone is talking about Bento lately with good reason. If you haven't heard of Bento by now crawl out from underneath your rock and join the SL World. Bento was released back in December I believe by Linden Labs as the new Avatar Skeleton. It makes for more realistic movement and makes the avatar as a whole more realistic for mesh creators. At least that's my understanding. With that being said let me talk about what Bento products I have tried.

I broke down and bought the Vista Bento Hands not thinking about seeing if Slink had updated her stuff. They aren't super duper user friendly like the Bento hands that come with the Maitreya Lara Mesh body. Slinks are more user friendly than the Vista hands but you have to buy the hand animations seperately or instead of updating all the hands you bought you suck it up and pay out of pocket for the big "Dynamic" hands. That too me is a bit excessive seeing as you're paying at least 500 - 700 L for each pair of hands before the Bento update. I've been a slink fan for a few years now but Maitreya's hands have won me over. So have her feet but Maitreya's feet aren't Bento as far as I know. I've talked to a few other mesh body users that own more than one mesh body, especially ones who own the Maitreya mesh body and Slink's bodies and all agree that Maitreya's is the most user friendly with everything controlled from one hud. I own the Slink Hourglass body as well and will probably do a post comparing that body with the Maitreya body, I just have a couple of shapes to tweak to make both bodies look proportionate.

Moving onto Bento Heads. I demoed a lot before deciding which one I wanted. I tried Catwa's Catya head which seems to be the most popular one by Catwa but I didn't like it. I didn't like how much editing I had to do for one head, it felt like there was too much editing involved for me. So I moved onto another company, I don't remember the name of, and although I liked the lips on the head none of the skin places I frequent make appliers for it so I steered away from it. I then tried two heads from Lelutka, the Simone head and the Chloe head. Chloe was by far my favorite and didn't require much editing to my shape's face. I liked that part but also liked how youthful it seemed compared to Simone at least in my opinion. It didn't take me that long to adjust my shape's face to fit the Chloe head and make it look more realistic looking. That made me happy.

All in all Maitreya and Lelutka did not disappoint me with their Bento. My suggestion to you is demo before you buy to decide. Be picky and if you don't like it don't buy it. Whether it's Bento heads, hands, feet, ears, tails or mesh bodies only buy something you're 100% happy with.

Hey Girl

It feels so nice to find more clothing for the Maitreya mesh body. Addams has become my new favorite store to buy clothing from as I don't really have to edit my shape to make the clothing fit. What makes Addams epic is they have standard mesh sizes plus cater to other mesh bodies like Slink and Belleza for example. Most of my SL is spent in Addams now because I love how it looks on my avi and how user friendly Maitreya's hud is to create alphas. Also if you haven't already there is a new update for the Slink Hands, Feet and I believe their bodies.

I'm also proud to announce Dope Gurl. A new brand from the beautiful face behind Latreia Foot Fashions. These shoes are amazing and have some pretty color options and you can customize the entire shoe to be some pretty cool colors via convenient hud. They work with Maitreya, Slink Flat feet and Belleza feet. I will also be helping Galatea Aviatik Morane in becoming blogger manager for the store. :)

Before I go I do have a new mesh body part that I'd like to talk about. I recently purchased a mesh head from Lelutka. It's called Ever. While it is a beautiful head and Lara Hurley makes beautiful faces for them I do have a few complaints. Lelutka doesn't work with Omega and doesn't have baby hair hairbases or really work with a lot of hair. I wish it did because a lot of hair I have I can't wear unless I take the head off. I do have to admit that I'm loving the facial expressions and the options to wear lashes or not and the ability to change the opening of the eyes. Lately it feels like I'm being pulled in different directions and want to show off one look but end up going with something completely different. It's like that with people too it seems and I'm getting pulled apart at the seams. One thing I'm proud of is that this look came together easily. I recently got this jacket from Delirium Style and wanted a cute vest to go under it and wanted to look like I was ready to go out on the town and make all the boys cry so I'm proud to present a new release from Narcissistic, the Tequila Vest. It comes in 3 colors and also has options to have tank tops. 

I also stopped by the Hair Fair. I have made it a point to go every year to support Wigs for Kids and help to support children who have cancer to get wigs in real life. Nobody should feel self conscious and this is one charity that I will support whole heartedly. I also found out that a designer I like and have followed for a couple of years now (who also used to sponsor my blog under it's former name Elfies Unite for Fashion) was diagnosed with Hodgkins Limphoma. She has set up a gofundme fundraiser to help with medical costs and support of her family while she undergoes treatments. I'll leave a link to her website and gofundme below.

I've Been So Hollow Inside

So I've been debating on getting the Loud Mouth for ages and have been putting it off because it was another Mesh Body Part that I didn't think I needed or really wanted. I was waiting to see if more skin creators would make appliers for this particular product and I was thrilled when I saw that Glam Affair did. I'm not sure if Lara Hurley has yet but I do hope she makes the appliers soon if she hasn't. I'm honestly in love with my Loud Mouth and love that you can get different teeth for it. Being the vampire freak that I am I purchased the vampire teeth, which are sold separately, but don't worry the mouths come with teeth that you have the option of wearing or getting other teeth for. But yea I'm loving the Mouth and how it looks tons better than my default mouth. Don't get me wrong I also love the default lips but these look better like I'm smirking more instead of just frowning. So if you've been debating on getting this product but haven't completely made up your mind I say go for it because it's a well crafted and easy to use product.

Anywhooooo I've also been wanting these little ring doohickies for my slink hands. I saw they were apart of an event but since I don't log into SL as often as I used to I missed out on the event. Thankfully though they're now on marketplace and the creator has so much for the slink hands that are usable on the Male and Female hands. Definitely check them out. I also kind of went overboard on getting things from Suicidal Unborn and grabbing up their group gifts. My eyes are the newest group gift and I have to admit I'm in love with these. I love how they look and how you can even put in the mesh eyes and make your eyes two different colors. I also picked up these garters that I adore and finally have use for this collar. All in all I got the Wednesday Addams vibe going on that I absolutely love.... because it feels like Wednesday Addams after she hit puberty and discovered dark kawaii. She Works it Like the Wicked Witch of the West

Shopping is soothing for the soul and lately it's been so nice to be able to log in SL and shop. Hit up my favorite stores and put together a look and play dress up. Lately I've felt like having an edgy look I could wear to a club and rock for a while. I found this cute corset from No-Limitz and it seemed to make this dress pop a little bit more and add a bit of color. It was a perfect contrast to this hair I recently picked up from Raw House. I do have to say I'm pretty impressed with this hair and love how it looks like it's a long mohawk that hasn't yet been styled. I love it. I'm loving the whole look in general and will be totally rocking it until I feel like changing again. In the mean time happy shopping!

Messing With Your Head

I've been rewatching True Blood lately and have been remembering all of the reasons why I love Pam and how her fashion sometimes inspires how I dress for the day. This pretty pink dress was only 1 linden and comes with appliers for butts, boobs and I think other bodies but since I don't own any of the mesh bodies I don't really look for appliers for those products but nonetheless the dress is gorgeous and I finally have something to pair with these gorgeous heels I got at Reign for the Pink Fusion hunt last year or the year before. I am in love with this look and love how even something as dark as this collar necklace from Delirium Style goes with this dress even if it isn't totally seen in the above picture (crappy laptop = crappy graphics I'm sorry, trying to get that taken care of). Let Mercy Come To Wash Away the Innocence

When life gets busy things tend to get left and forgotten and all you wanna do is grab the bull by the horns and show it who's boss. I know from personal experience over the course of this last March. I promise myself that I'm going to get a job or something's going to come along and I'll have a little bit of free time to catch up on everything I'm slacking on. One thing that I've noticed is that even when I'm slacking somehow I think of Harley Quinn from Batman. I've never been a fan of Batman but have seen enough of this particular character that she's somewhat of an inspiration. She gets shit done in her own time. With this beautiful mesh jacket from Delirium Style with a color change hud to change the decorations on the jacket, the undershirt and the wings paired with these pants I'm in heaven. This awesome top can be found at the Rock Attitude Fashion Fair which opens March 28th. Since it does open tomorrow I haven't been able to get my hands on a landmark but I'm sure you'll be able to find it tomorrow when the event opens. On another note I've been rocking this cross collar and these killer boots. The boots I do admit they are hard to pair with things but bright side is is that they are compatible with the Cute Azz and are made for the Slink High Feet. Also if you own any of the Slink Products there are updates you need to pick up. Just head to the Slink Mainstore and hit the redelivery terminal and have your items redelivered. They'll be completely updated and let me tell you it's worth it. The hud looks better and is more user friendly now plus you can control hands and feet from one hud. Definitely user friendly and I'm really impressed with this update. If you don't have any of the slink products get with it they are definitely worth every linden. Happy Shopping.

I'm Here to F**K Sh*t Up

I am in love with this top and the different textures but if I'm going to be honest with myself it's this texture that's my favorite. It's become my motto of the last few months because I'm at the stage of my life where I've become more honest and more open about the things that come out of my mouth and this is the most legit thing that has come out of my mouth or entered my thought processes recently. I am also loving rocking this hair that I got as a group gift at Atro Patena. Granted the store is mostly targeted towards MEN I think anyone could rock this hair in particular. I do have a warning though that this hair is unrigged mesh so you may have to resize it to your avi's head and in order to get this hair you have to pay a 50 L group join fee but trust me it's worth it. They also have a pretty nice subscriber hair as well. Definitely worth a check. Happy shopping!

Talk Will Get You Nowhere

I'm going crazy I swear, there isn't snow on the ground where I'm at and it's perfect weather for picnics and going swimming. On top of that I've also started trying to get back into Rp and have found a new home for rp while I wait for Fallen to reopen if it ever does. While the photos aren't taken at my new rp home you should definitely go check out Convergence: The Lost City and put in an app to come roleplay with us. People are pretty awesome to roleplay with and the owner of the Sim (Zekkiel Zerundi) is pretty cool. I've been rping with him off and on for a couple years now and he's pretty friendly.... even if every so often he gives Liz's heart attacks. Anyways this outfit is something I plan on wearing to rp one of my characters since I'm trying to get her out of black and making her blend in a little bit more. I'm starting to swear by Delirium Style when I rp since most of what I wear or want my characters to wear comes from Delirium Style. Obsessed? Just a little! I'm the Best Worst Thing That Ever Happened

Warning Parental Advisory Explicit Content from here.... just kidding, kinda but not really. Man I hate how time flies and a month seems to be gone in a blink of an eye. I've been busy for so long it's nice to sit down and relax for a bit and take a little break from blogging and from SL for a little while. I also haven't felt like blogging. What am I going to blog about? What look do I wanna go for today that I might wanna share and honestly I find myself saying man what a drag.... because nothing I do seems to fit. But I'm glad I did take that break. I've been debating on the new ears from Mandala and was thinking of getting them while I was on my little hiatus in between reading up a storm and wrapping up final prep to get my degree.... I've wanted to get them for a while since I saw you could change the ear types from Human to Pixie to Elf and all of the options are amazingly well crafted and look tons better than Mandala's previous ears. They even blend better making it easier to hide that they're ears that attach instead of your avi's natural ears. I love them. Also the color options for the jewelry, the tattoos and the skin hud are remarkably easy to use... much easier than previous ears. I definitely recommend them to anyone on the fence about getting them. Neither picture has ear touch ups that's how amazing they are... for real. Snowflakes in the New Year

Hello everybody and happy new year. The last couple weeks have been really hectic. Between getting a job and then leaving that job for personal reasons and getting sick immediately afterwards coupled with the holidays I'm pooped. I hope ringing in the new year is treating everybody well and I hope this year is better for you and that we can look back at 2014 and remember only the positive. That's what I'll be doing. Anyways since I've been busy and it's been so cold outside lately I thought I'd put together a look that made me feel warm. Delirium Style released this jacket and it kind of makes me feel like a snow queen pimp like I'm ready to take on the streets of Nevada and own that shit. I also wanted to put these shoes to use again since I bought them and have only worn them once since I bought them. Unfortunately they were a limited edition exclusive at the Big Show last year or the year before. I love the shoes but still wish that I could have gotten them in black so I could wear them better with outfits. Anyways I'm going to get out of here and try and get over whatever I have. She Destroys Me

I love finding things that inspire me and lately I've been trying to find things that do just that. I've been working hard in RL and SL to work on ways to find inspiration or ways to work on releasing things.... and get a store going. It's been a dream of mine since I was a noob to one day own a successful store on SL. It's slowly happening but not as fast as I would have liked. Impatience at it's best. Anyways I finally found a perfect top to go with these jeans that I released for my store Narcissistic. Delirium Style always pulls through when I need it the most it seems like and I love it. I love the hud options for this top and think it goes well with everything. The only thing I wish is that DS released more items for Azz lovers and tango lovers.... Blank Space

This time of year always gets to me and makes me remember why I don't like it. This year was no different. I always have to take a step back and remember things to be thankful for. I love getting snuggled up in something warm and curling up in a good book. Lately I've been struggling with being sick, working on finals I have to prepare for and having a severe case of blogger's block. So I'm a bit behind. Never fear though because this cute sweater comes from Delirium Style in time for the winter weather. It comes with a massive hud, that allows you to take off the tank top underneath or put it on in a variety of colors. Also I've opened up a clothing line off of my store on marketplace and have a variety of pants both mesh and nonmesh with appliers where necessary for those of you who wear the azz's from Luck Inc. You Can Call Me Obsessed but I Mean No Disrespect

I was thinking of what I could say as a way to tell a story with my outfit but I'll let the pictures tell the story themselves since they turned out better than I expected.

Anyways I gave in and bought the new Fitted Mesh breasts from Lolas and I don't know I'm still hesitant about Fitted Mesh and am not totally on the bandwagon yet. Most Fitted Mesh clothing is dresses that I've found and that puts a kink in my plans for what I wanna wear since I love wearing my Cute Azz since my legs look blocky and nasty without it.... but these boobs I think I've finally gotten adjusted to where they don't look too huge and look semi decent at least with some tops, not all since the double collarbone is a bit harder to fix and I don't have all the patience in the world to adjust it.... I do wish Lolas would start making demos for their boobs because nearly 2k is outrageous to spend just to find out if I like something or not... and I'm pretty sure I've said that before.... as have so many other bloggers. It's Just A Little Too Wrong

Lately I've been watching The Walking Dead.... and trying to get caught up with the current season and feeling cold since it looks like this year might be a decent winter where I am in RL.... I've been wanting to wear warm clothes and snuggle up and watch walking dead where I can scream at people I don't like to die. Anyways [bubble]'s released these cute sweaters that come in many different prints and I've been wearing this one and one with a pentagram on it for the last few days hoping that would make me feel warm. I also stopped by Mute. since they're having a closing sale, I believe it ends on November 30th. Although you can't see them in the picture I got some really cute foot chains there, they're for slink high feet. The best part is EVERYTHING at Mute is 10 L including fatpacks, gachas and shoes.
